I am on a quest today to turn my boys to men. I am taking them to Calaway park. My plan is to take them on some crazy rides. They have not experienced thrill rides before so it is my intention to change that. With my luck I will be the one hanging over the garbage can. As long as I stay away from the spinning ones I will be fine. I will post the experience later.

We got rained out today :( we were there for 1/2 an hour, long enough for some bumber cars and a mushroom (tot) ride. By then we were cold and wet so we are postponing until Friday.

calaway park rollercoaster was my first rollercoaster! it was a good one to start with. that sharp drop was the scariest part for me...as a kid....
that is a good quest. your boys will make very respectable men, if they are anything like you....which I see alot of that already!

I remember when Calaway officially opened (this year marks the 25th Anniversary) I used to have season tickets growing up as a kid. My sis and I were there at least once a week all summer long.Good times.They have this storm ride that looks really intense.

calaway park was my first rollercoaster as well! So fun! Get them hooked while they're young, and they'll be flipping the zipper cart in no time! lol
