Day 1

We saw the pediatrician today and he was going to check into Ethan's heart. They did find a small hole in his heart which is not concerning them as it will heal over. They are basically going to go up the investigation ladder to find out what is ailing him. The past 24 hours they have been depriving him of bottle/breast feeding, but now they want him to eat as much formula as he wants for the next 24 hours to see how he processes that.

They are also going to be checking out his metabolic system as well to ensure everything is working there. So we are still in the waiting game to see what the issue is.

There is no set time as to how long he will be in, but they did say that they would not let him go until they know what is wrong.
